We have 3.2mil traffic a month, so with the new addition we expect an increase of 10% including sales for all the retails. "We get about 30% of tourist, therefore we don't want to copy others. Urbanites are aware of the brands so we if we can help them by bringing the brands here, people won't have to go overseas and we can help boost our economy. Most sequels satisfy themselves by simply offering "more of the same," but returning director Dante not only gives us more Gremlins, but also different Gremlins, plus a talking Gremlin, plus a spoof of Ted Turner, a totally new setting (a huge shopping mall/office complex) and several key returning cast members. While the first film had a bit of a scare factor, this one is played almost totally for laughs and it delivers on almost every gag. And then there's in-jokes like naming a general store Karloff's. McLoughlin respects his audience and recognizes that they're not watching a dumb horror movie because they're idiots. He shows all this and more on a solo commentrak for this definitely worthy chapter..
